MMA stands for “Mixed Martial Arts”. And while this is a fun sport to watch, and certainly one of the fastest growing sports on the planet, one has to wonder about how it got its name.
Where MMA Has Been, Where It Is Now, And Where It's Going
Submitted by James Folsom on Wed, 07/06/2011 - 21:33Mixed Martial Arts is the fastest growing sport in America. Millions watch it via pay-per-view and on cable channels. Sports Pubs have some of their biggest nights hosting MMA events. Ten years ago, nobody had ever heard of it.
