Please Help to Find a Cure Rather Than a Band-Aid for 4 Month Old Charlotte!!!!

Four-month-old, Charlotte Niemiec has been in the hospital since May 28, 2011. The current hospital she resides in is merely putting a band-aid on Charlotte's pain rather than looking for a solution to her condition. This little girl has only gotten a few hours of sleep over the past few days, and cannot heal under the current conditions.

Charlotte suffers from a gastrointestinal disorder that the doctors are unable to identify. The pain is so extreme that she is hooked up to a pain medication drip with an extra bump when the pain intensifies. Her little heart beats at 210-225 beats per minute when she gets worked up. Under her condition, she has a tendency to get worked up about every 20 minutes.

The pain medicine and sleeping aids are not cutting it for Charlotte! She needs a resolution to her illness, not a band-aid! Charoltte's parents have been demanding testing to discover the reason for the increased pain. The hospital staff decline their requests stating, "it's not urgent. Let's give her more pain meds." Her eyes are glassed over with exhaustion and roll back in her head when she is in severe pain.

If the hospital cannot find a cure for Charlotte, let us help this baby's family to find someone who can!

Charlotte's mother, Cheryl, has been vigorously researching pediatric hospitals that may be suited for finding a resolution to Charlotte's illness. She has found a hospital in Cincinnatti, Ohio that has a doctor equivalent to that of Dr. House. He takes on special cases, and Cheryl wrote to him asking if he would help Charlotte.
